Call our Social Services Director, Daniela, and she will walk through an extensive list to evaluate what is the right next step. As a 5 Star Rated facility we will ensure that the care your loved one requires will be provided. You can also use this checklist when evaluating Nursing Homes.

There are many options for financial assistance. We have extensive experience working with Private Insurance, the VA, Medicaid, Medicare, and Private Pay. Give us a call, and let’s explore the options together.

We have several Private Rooms which are in high demand. Sign up for our waitlist now [Link to Waitlist] so you can be at the top of the list when a private room becomes available. When it is necessary for residents to have a roommate, we make every effort to find a compatible companion who is a match in personality and care level. Often a roommate is a good thing because it inspires residents to keep up with their rehab and motivates them to get dressed, fix their hair, and be personable.

This will be your loved one’s home, and they can receive visitors whenever they want. We are open 24 hours a day. You can come as often as you want, when you want, and stay as late as you want.

We proudly offer Open Dining, which allows our residents to eat what and when they want within a block of time. For more details, see our Dining page. 

How will my loved one get to appointments?2019-02-17T23:50:34+00:00

We believe continuity of care is important, so we have designated staff who will take your loved one to and from appointments within a reasonable distance. Give Daniela a call if you’d like to know if a particular Doctor is in our usual service area.

Can we take our loved one out of the facility for the day?2019-02-17T23:52:11+00:00

Nothing is better than being together as a family. We allow and encourage our families to take their loved ones for the day or overnight, as long as it is compatible with the Doctor’s care plan.

Our specialty trained Eating Aides will provide any feeding assistance needed. Beyond technical help, we also have staff who eat with residence during meals who will chat with residence and enjoy the food with them in order to increase appetite and enjoyment.

We have a 24-hour bank within Fowler Health Care. If a resident has funds deposited in our bank, they can draw money from 7:30-5:00 at the main office and after hours from our Nursing Staff.

Can we bring in personal belongings?2019-02-17T23:53:44+00:00

We believe it is important that your loved one be allowed to make their space feel like home. We encourage each resident to bring their favorite recline, decorative touches, and small personal belongings. The size of the room will be the deciding factor in what can be brought.

Will my loved one get a shower or bath?2019-02-17T23:54:24+00:00

Every resident will be able to choose between whether they prefer a shower or bath with the assistance of a Bathing Aides. Many residence love our Deluxe Bathing Spa.
